Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Commercial Leasing Assistant to join our Montreal team. The selected candidate will be based in our Montreal office, located near Crémazie metro.

Main Responsibilities

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

You will work closely with the Vice-President, Development and Leasing, and our team of professionals to ensure an optimal customer experience and maximize occupancy rates.

You’ll play a key role in optimizing our commercial property portfolio, coordinating activities related to space planning and leasing. You will respond to requests from brokers and customers, understanding their needs and proposing appropriate solutions. You will plan and organize site visits with potential customers, ensuring an attractive presentation of the space.

You will also be responsible for preparing commission agreements and quarterly reports on completed transactions.

In addition, you will follow up on various documents such as commission agreements, measurement certificates, offers to lease and leases, and file them in Teams. You will catalogue and update the various documents and information required for leasing, such as vacancy plans, photos, lists of additional rent estimates and vacancy updates. Lastly, you’ll collaborate on the preparation of materials required for space rental, such as building brochures and website updates.

Skills Profile and Required Qualifications

YOUR PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in secretarial work or other relevant training;
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience as an assistant in a commercial leasing department (office and retail);
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French and English;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Hopem (an asset).
